Really good Stay
attentive detail maintained pool
The staff were great to every detail upon arrival. The pools were beautifully maintained and perfect. I found the gym had everything needed for a good workout.
I was told that there is no space in any of the restaurants, even for those guests with half-board. There isn't enough capacity to service all guests during peak season. It would be better to have some reservations available.

Excellent Stay at Abama
seamless check-in comfortable bed excellent care
I really appreciated the concierge services prior to arrival. They helped with transportation and dinner reservations. Upon arrival, check-in was seamless. The room had a comfortable bed, a large bathroom with amenities, and a lovely balcony. Francisco, the Retreat ambassador, ensured we enjoyed our stay and assisted with planning. Miguel and Daniel took excellent care of us at the Tacande pool.
The hotel informed us that all restaurants were fully booked for our entire stay upon arrival. I wish i had known to book further in advance! it created a bit of stress at the beginning, though we managed to resolve it. ',

Verde Mar stood out. The food was flavorful with vegan options. The hotel includes several dining options from casual to formal, as well as options for breakfast. Contact the concierge for menus before arrival if you have dietary restrictions.

The pools are well kept and relaxing. The wellness circuit has a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms. Sunscreen is readily available at each pool and beach. The beach club provides a great spot for lunch with scenic views.

friendly staff spacious room delicious restaurant
i appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. my room was spacious , with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. i found the variety and quality of the restaurants excellent, offering delicious meals every evening.
the gym got a bit crowded during peak hours , making it slightly challenging to use all the equipment.

I tried the breakfast buffet . It included diverse choices with several healthful items. some indulgent dishes. the omelette station had someone that managed multiple orders, with a cheerful disposition , ensuring a pleasant start. a server offered cappuccinos.
